Sorry for not providing more information and a time frame in which we will resolve the issues we are facing.

We have hit some snags and the new release will be ready in about 30 days.

I meant if it were down to a few loose frog hairs dangling around or something cosmetic.
We know what perfectionist these guys are.Wink
They don't ever want to be caught up in the reputation of releasing crap!
OOps!, Guess I just shot down my own idea for the obvious reasons.
Sorry guys, I was just beginning to feel your pain.

I will now relinquish this thread for "word from the Great Pumpkin"

Sounds like this is a very real challenge and that can be tough on developers.
All tho this is very serious for some users I have to admit.
This exchange is beginning to tickle my funny bone.

We have weekly engineering meetings to cover things that haven't be completed. Whenever management ask when a project will be completed, we have adopted a standard phrase "2 weeks".
So I get it, "Are we there yet?"Wink

"Almost there it's over the next hill."
"Now sit back and read the Berma Shave signs."
Here's one now "
There once was a man named Mc Ajax, jacked his car up on two bumper jacks, while under it snug, on a wrench he did tug, now his widow is wearing his slacks!

Thanks Daddy!

Do you remember the movie "Money Pit" and the contractors standard reply as to when the job will be finished?

Maybe that is why one of our guys first said 2 weeks and it got such a laugh!
Then the next meeting it was 2 weeks and the meeting after that etc. etc. etc.
Thanks for the funny memory,
Dave
