Error log definitions and actions.

This might want to be added to the Seminar agenda also.
"Inquiring minds might want to know."
How about a list of common entries into the syslog and a explanation of what they mean.
IE:
1. I know what a soft miss means but not why it would crop up every once in awhile.
2. What are the real bad entries that need correction and what do you do when you see them ?

Maybe something like ------

Really Bad:

You might want to do something:

Just wanted to see what you all thought, this AP has been doing this for some time. I have replaced the WAR2, replaced the Radio and I still get these errors. I have seen this now on a WRAP, and 2 x WAR2's on this link.

This site is plastered with RF gear something like 70 microwave dishes several Radio and TV stations but we are the only 5.8 users on the site.

I guess If you used 5.8-only card or RF filter you would not see this. As much as I learned, card that can receive in both 2.4 and 5.8 will still receive noise from other RF band and it will interfere width cards functions. I could be wrong tow.

This is a good thread folks,
I hope we can keep it going.
These are the strange things that show up and we have to badger Tony and Lonnie for answers.
Most of the time they are routine and do not require attention but when customers are calling and we are looking for trouble everything needs an answer.
Thanks for playing along.

Here is another one " AP being reconfigured"?

│3 kernel: wpci0: authentication with 00:0b:6b:37:20:5e failed - reason: 22 - auth deferred; access point is being reconfigured ^│
│1 kernel: wpci0: associated to 00:0b:6b:37:20:5e with aid 1, QoS, compression, fast-frames │
│5 kernel: wpci0: authentication with 00:0b:6b:37:20:5e failed - reason: 22 - auth deferred; access point is being reconfigured

A little PS: This is the only unit that doesn't seem to want to graph in CACTI. There is even another unit on this segment that is working fine.
They are both LOS and only two blocks away.
