I think I found what everyone is looking for, they have 2 versions.
http://www.ubiquiti-networks.com/sr5/index.htm I posted the link for 802.11a, but they have b&g also. I think they should work in the wrap boards, input from Lonnie would be appreciated here. Joe River-Net

Have you had any success getting pricing and availability from them. I got no telephone response, and I am guessing it may be a while on the email I sent.

I just called and there is a message to check the web site in the future for a list of distributors.
I also emailed and will await a resonse. I suppose someone could leave a message about something other than their super range products and make it through to them, but I don't have the time today. George |

We have finished design of the Super Range 2 card and it will be in distribution in 6-8 weeks.
The Super Range 5 card is still in development -- I will give you guys an update periodically on its progress. Robert |

hello,
any pricing info and datasheets on SR2 b/g model ? Any expectations for SR5 802.11a? Note that AP1 with 1W output power (30dB) actually has 5.5dB omni antenna - which obviously is counted to that calculation, so the actual output at antenna connector could be somewhere around 24dB. Isn't something like this going to happen with '400mW' cards here? Like 130mW actual output with 5.5dB antenna or so... bye, mp3turbo. |

I think you are assuming to much.
AP-ONE: 1 Watt TX power + 5.5 dBi antenna = 35.5 dBm EIRP. We are seeing SR2 power at 200-400 mW in our samples. Look for them in distribution within next 2 months. Robert |

madtensai,
I said the opposite : actual output from AP could be around 24dB plus 5.5dB omni antenna = 29.5dB = 1W output from AP. I'm pointing out that there is not output like output. Are we discussing output at antenna port or output from antenna (=eirp, including gain of antenna) ? I don't expect that device to have 30dB (1W) + 5.5dB omni = 35.5dB. That's insane. The same I applied for cards. When there is 400mW ad, it could be actually somewhere around 120-150mW (which obviously is not that bad at all, depends on what datarates) and together with 2.5-3dB antenna gain we could "have" 400mW. Understood? bye, mp3turbo. |

How well will these cards work with prisim clients?

Robert,
I'd be most interested in seeing some real datasheets for your products, as opposed to the marketing sheets currently on the site. The AP1 looks interesting, but the CPU info suggests that you're using something other than a WRAP board. When can we expect to see specs on the AP's capabilities? Will it run StarOS? Thanks, |
