    Default 4.8.0.0.9095

The BIG fix is the War1B with 2.4 GHz AP support. I found an issue that affected ONLY the War1B in AP mode on the 2.4 GHz band. Please give this a try if you are experiencing ANY issues with the War1B. Client mode was never affected and 5 Ghz was also fine. This has a few other fixes so it is highly recommended, of course once you have tried it in a few spots and found it to be reliable. Then I believe it should go everywhere if 5 & 10 MHz are not required.

Please test on an easy to access system and make sure it is stable for your situation before deploying too many. The firmware has been stress tested for general function and throughput in an indoor environment. Your outdoor and long term use "might" not be the same. I have NOT had any issues with upgrading and absolutely NO BRICKS have been created. I will say this is a safe release and your long term use will determine its reliability.

PLEASE post any reports, good or bad of your testing and use. Your feedback is important and helps me to make repairs.

Main Features of the 4.8.0.0.9095 Release
    - FULL Licensed Frequency support.
    - FULL Bridging support.
    - FULL Hidden ESSID.
    - COMPLETE Full Duplex.
    - NO Cloaking Support (5 & 10 MHz channels)
    - NO Basic SYNC support.
    - FULL OLSR support.
    - fixed site survey so that all platforms now function correctly.

    - make sure you do NOT use u-APSD on the clients

    - PLEASE give this a test in a spot that has problems. I have done a FTP transfer of a 18 GB file multiple times with NO APP STALL. It sometimes slows down, but it picks right up again. NOTE: I am testing with 30+ units that can be seen on a site survey and 16 are on 2412 which is what I am testing on. 3 of the units are seen by the client with higher signals than the AP it is talking to.

I have added the xscale units back. They were not generated this time because there are no changes at all to them. The previous release was OK.

Do you know if or when 5 and 10MHz channels will be supported? Without it I have no solution.

The roadmap for that is as follows:

    1. Before I left for my holiday, I back tracked the kernel version because the Ventana was lacking some drivers, and I figured there might be some missing items for the others. It seems the war1B was hurt, so my first step will be to get the kernel to what I will call the intermediate update.

    2. Once that is done I will take the kernel to the very latest for sub-version available at kernel.org.

    3. Then I will begin the process of adding 5&10 MHz channels. This is actually going to be required for the OpenWRT driver, so I consider it time NOT wasted and WELL spent.
