Where is the Xscale war version? Don't see it in the current dir listing.
If you don't get caught, did you really do it?

AFAIK, the latest WAR version (4.1.9.8.2-Build 6655) is only in the Dropbox site:
    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4ovsrb1oa...6655.world.pkg

AFAIK, the files on the StarOS site are just the 4.1.9.8 unpublished intermediate build 6644 versions.

All the releases for the current version are on Dropbox, and will be headed to our star-os.com/files site soon.

What version would be the suggested version to leave WAR1-MIPs now that they are no longer being supported? The 4.1.9.7 version, or the 4.1.9.8 intermediate version?

The 4.1.9.8 release is good. You can download it from the star-os.com/files website since it is no longer on dropbox.

I'm having an issue with the 4.1.9.8.2 firmware. I upgraded an Alix gateway with 1 radio, a 188 with 3 radios (next hop) another alix with 2 radios and a war-4 with 4 radios with the newest firmware. The system is running OLSR for protocol, WEP for 1 of the links. Everything upgraded OK, but while testing from the gateway, I noticed the connection tracking would increase, sometimes real quickly. In fact, it will increase 1% per second, and lock out the system completely. I have to reset the card, and all will go back to normal, but further testing will dio the same. I can't find anything amiss on the log. I put 4.1.9.7 back on, and quit the testing for now.
    Any suggestions?

    MrMike
How long have you been running .2 on that alix?
I updated an alix yesterday, my 2nd board to try .2 on.
It is also running mesh. Has NA-26 in and NG-26 out.
Right now it's been up for 1 day 1 hr and 20 minutes, cpu is fluctuating about 10-12%, and connection table is about 500 of 16384 3%
I'm leary of doing widespread roll out with out feedback.
I upgraded a tower top laguna this morning and had to do a tower climb.
This board has fiber to it, and after rebooting the board while it was atop the tower I had no ether connectivity or any wireless broadcasting on the 2 NA-26's.
After getting it to the bottom and connecting it to my laptop, it started working like it was supposed to. it's back on the tower working again.
Only thing I noticed was I had ether set to 100megs and changed it to auto, although that does not explain why it was not broadcasting.

    I am concerned.

The issues started within 15 minutes. I re-booted the system about 3 or 4 times, re-set the card more times than that, then reverted back to 4.1.9.7. I tried to upload that firmware to the next hop (188), but cannot ssh into the board.
