Any extra functionality included to make use of the extra power?

The only item marked out of stock is the WAR2.
The 1214s and 1517s don't even show low stock yet.

It would be nice if they updated the site especially if they have nothing to ship for several weeks.
If that's the case I have another order to cancel. And no, it did not show No-stock.

Check with George or Katie. I know bare boards are out, but there might be assembled systems.

Try the latest 4.4.5.7-7842 release. It fixes the 11N card reset issue.

I am hoping I just didn't get the email. But I believe I ordered a couple 1210's and I'm not sure if they are coming at this point. Which now reminds me that I am not going to have a couple radios for installs this weekend.. Crap. I love long weeks, and it's only Wed.

It will have all the features of the WAR-4 (software-wise), with far greater performance than the current WAR-1 systems. It will lack fdx since it requires two radios.

    OLSR in a WAR1!
Now I will have something to put inside camera domes and all those end of a mesh network places.

    Will they run on 24Vdc?

IMHO: The "Holy Grail" would be 2 nics and a on board power jack but we know that ain't gunna happen. 24V, 1 nic, power jack or poe 2 out of three aint so bad.

Maybe if VNC would sell Alix with perpetual license? They can buy on wholesale, upload StarOS and license and then sell them? Just an idea for brainstorming. We will have a multi year license. The perpetual will require becoming an OEM, thus higher volumes and more commitment.

There is no margin for us if we sell Alix boards, MT or Ubiquiti boards, so we will sell items that enhance what is out there.

The first item will be software, of course. The second will be 75W power adapters with integrated POE. They definitely will support any MIMO or high power application for up to 4 radios. They will cost about $25. Cases of 80 will be available for those wanting to stock up and get a better price. Contact me via PM for this option.

Third, and maybe most important, we will soon have 700 MHz, 900 MHz, and 2.7 GHz 11bg cards.

We've actually gone out and spent the extra money stocking up and using the pac wireless integrated PoE devices solely because of their grounding. Is that featured in yours?

I'm not familiar, who has licenses for 2.7GHz (and in what regions)?
