I'd like to get a few people to test out the latest version of UtiliStar (the Windows GUI).
Send me a PM if you are interested.

UtiliStar V1.5 is now on Star-OS's download page. Let me know if you have any problems with it.

It does just about everything that starutil does except with a nice windows interface.
Upload and download scripts and config files
Thruput checking
Firmware upgrade

Hi ,
Steve i tried to use the version 1.5 , good and nice except one small detail
I am trying to change the password in the edit menu
and next time i want to launch the software and asking me the pass :
I am entering the pass and it is not accepting thus i am sure about what i typed , i tried this, i mean uninstall and install again remove eveything from the regedit but still the same , the minute i put the pass i am not able to get in..
even i put password : 1234 so easy just to try it and still the same
thanks in advance

I'll check it out and get it fixed. The password isn't stored anywhere, it is just used to encrypt/decrypt the preferences file. Delete whatever file you gave it to store your preferences in and that will let you start from scratch.
I'm out of town now, so it will be a few days before I get to it.

Guys - Steve has developed this and distributes it for free. Please use whatever hardware he recommends and let him keep some time available to earn a living. Or you might consider sending him a PayPal thanks and a PayPal "wish it had this feature".

Thanks Lonnie.
As for OSX, no. I don't have the hardware or the tools for anything other than windows.
