Just wondering about something... I just upgraded a couple of StarOS boxes to 1.06.7rc build 2702. Everything went well, but I notice now that I can no longer connect to these boxes via FTP. Has the FTP daemon been removed or turned off now that the backup/update utilities are available? I checked the release notes, but didn't see anything there regarding the FTP server.

Documentation issue again. FTP is removed, as we had to have one or the other. The new update works so much better anyway.

Yes, we have a better upgrade method now, which is no longer FTP based. Go to the downloads page and near the top you will find some links to a StarOS Utility program. Download the one for your OS of choise and run it with no parameters to get a help screen and some examples.
If you need any help, please let us know.
Thanks!

Hello
Thanks to the question I do now have the solution as well... the download page still has the old info via FTP at the top and in the middle of the night one will scroll past the now obvious notes just below the original notes. I guess blinking with maybe even a nasty popup. Or possibly if you could insert it in the old pdf might help the next blind(well almost) person and save them a bit of time.
PS Yes I am nitpicking..
The upgrade links have been updated with the new information. Thank you for the suggestion.
Thanks!
