I'm seeing a card labeled "WaveLan ISA adapter. ISA to PCMCIA PC card network adapter" on ebay. Assuming the card itself works (looks like its in good shape) will this be likely to work with star os and an avaya card (or I have an older version wavelan card i can use too)?

i guess ill just chance it then. its cheap enough, and ill find out eventually if it works or now.

What is the chipset on this ISA adapter?

i really cant be sure of the chipset, but the picture on the main chip looks like most of the other isa cards ive seen for sale.

i know this is less than helpful.... sorry.

Without knowing the chipset the only thing I can say is - plug it in and see what it does. I doubt that any harm can come to it so the worst case is that it is not going to work. With luck on your side it will be recognized and will do the job you want.

it works great. the only chip on the board reads "vadem vg-469" as its main text.

other text on the chip reads as follows

A112 c1993
82002550
A8D2694
9920

on back of card on a sticker say "LUC Model: ISAPC-00"

FWIW the card seems to work well, though obviously I haven't done any long term testing.
