Most of the time, when logging on to software via putty, after you enter in the logon name "admin", it asks for the password rather quickly (a couple of seconds max). I have one box that 80-90% of the time, it takes approximately 35 seconds to prompt for the password. After entering in the password, it always opens up promptly. Is this a problem? This is a new box and has always done this. Is it trying to tell me that it is sick? Any ideas, or should I not worry about it? Thanks.

This is not a problem. The delay is caused by a DNS lookup timeout. If you put in a DNS entry for your IP in your DNS server that the StarOS box is pointing too, this will be cleared up.

Thanks!
