Hi!

Here is my layout: http://forums.star-os.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=98&stc=1&d=1192465787

I'm going to create 6-8 subnets using the Lucaya X4000 routers in 802.11a (turbo mode @ 200W EIRIP?).

My only experience is small networks up to 4 non pro routers, using WDS/Mesh in Sveasoft.

Do I have route 6-8 subnets in a corect manner to make it "OLSR ready", ore do I only have to turn on the OLSR function?

Simply do the assignment of the IP and masks and turn on OLSR, or tuen OLSR on and then make the assignments. As connections are made OLSR will create the routes and talking will happen.

Once you get some experience, and before you get the network too large, you will want to play with tog's OLSR config script.

Thank you, Lonnie! This seems to be almost as easy as with Sveasoft. I'll check out the OLSR script soon, because my boss wants this net big in a hurry. I'm just hoping I can learn fast enough.

Sim-ly do the assignment of the IP and masks and turn on OLSR, or tuen OLSR on and then make the assignments. As connections are made OLSR will create the routes and talking will happen.
