· We are now introducing a new line of complete systems from Valemount Networks including client, access, and mesh networking units which cover the available frequency bands from 900MHz up to 5.8GHz. These are all rugged units with the industry leading performance you would expect from us. I’m very pleased and excited about where we’re going with these new products. A LOT of blood, sweat, and tears has gone into getting to this point.

· We will continue to actively sell and support StarOS as a standalone operating system for our DIY and OEM customers. This is an important part of our business and we aren’t moving away from it.

· However, VNC will no longer sell bare boards and components after October 1st. We see no reason to continue selling components when we can offer complete certified systems at such an aggressive price point. Instead we will focus on development of new and innovative systems for our customers. This is where our strength lies and I think you’ll be very impressed with the additional products and innovations you’ll see from us in the coming months.

I feel that a WISP operator’s time is much better spent adding to their customer base, while allowing us to build their systems – especially at this price. I am also quite concerned with regulatory compliance, and I feel there will be much greater scrutiny of self built units going forward. I want to provide our customers with a solution which is fully certified and compliant they can depend on.

· All our new products will be available in our online store on our web site for sampling and evaluation soon. They are also available from our distribution partners (Microcom Technologies and Cue Link) and their resellers worldwide, where we feel you will find a more attractive everyday price for volume and ongoing orders. http://store.microcom.us/browse-by-brand--valemount-networks.html (http://store.microcom.us/browse-by-brand--valemount-networks.html)

· For more information please contact my right hand, or would that be left hand, George Miller at valemount.sales@gmail.com (valemount.sales@gmail.com)

We will both monitor that account but George is the primary business head and will free up time for me to focus on system and new product development.

Yes, that is right. We will continue to develop new systems. These are truly exciting times. Stay tuned.

This represents a major opportunity for Resellers. It will simplify the stocking process as well.

Hi Lonnie.

I for one want to know if the systems are certified to be made in USA or Canada because I have much trouble to import it to Mexico when they are made in China/Taiwan(300% of tax for finished products, not for the parts). The other thing is the volume of package. Shipping price is up to triple. I am worried about you not selling boards anymore. How can we continue shopping your products with this laws we have? I know that is not your problem, but what can you do to help us? The systems will need to be NOM certified(Mexican FCC equivalent) and it costs US$10,000 for every equipment. Please tell me your thoughts. Thanks.

I have addressed the issue of parts in another thread.

We can't certify for every country, but this does create an opportunity for someone to have units certified and they will be the ones to put on the sticker. No other party would be able to create or use the stickers. The company doing that will automatically become the exclusive Distributor for that country.
