I have a load of 48v poe units which I used to use for the "paperweight" radios. I am now only using war1's. I seen on the description of these war1's they take from 20v-48v. I just want to be sure this is ok before I use these 48v units on my war1's? They wont do any harm?

The 48V units should be fine. Make sure the end has a 2.1 mm plug with center positive. Measure the DC Output with a voltmeter and post it here and I will advise if I think it is safe.

47.7v :) The type poe unit I have does not have a dc jack, but rather 2 rj45 sockets.

That is not a problem and will work very well. It should be capable of 0.3A to have a healthy safety margin.

Hi,

Is is accurate to say that the WAR1 will not function on 18V regardless of the ampage?

Thanks,
CF

The WAR-1 should function fine at 18V (with a non high-power card).
