If you had say a sector running V3, and only customers running voip through it, could you fill to capacity, 250 or so subscribers? Seen as voip traffic is not as hard on bandwidth as a regular user would be? I presume if there were 50 calls being made at a time, this would be about 5 megs of traffic flowing through the AP?
50 calls would be 5000 packets per second, divided evenly between outbound towards clients and inbound from clients.
That could be difficult to achieve with a PtMP system that isn't designed with polling or TDM, trying to receive 2500 packets per second inbound from multiple clients would have a lot of collisions.
It would have to be tried, but using 2x cloaking and mostly 24 and 36 data rates my best guess is that 10 - 20 simultaneous calls would be more within the realm of reality.
