We have several outdoor case and antenna models to choose from. The first one we will affectionately call the CanoWAR. One picture follows. It is a nice snap together plastic case with a 9 dB internal antenna.

The second one will be our ClamoWAR and we have two pictures showing the inside and outside. It is a metal case with a hinged front and 14 dB antenna, thus the Clam name.

I expect these to be in stock within 6 weeks.

We are also going to support and sell the Ubiquiti PowerStation units. We have a couple of hardware changes and are awaiting the eval units with our changes. We will call our unit the PowerWAR.

This might be too many client units, but we are definitely making up for the lack of a client over the the last 2 years. These will all be priced right, with the price ladder as follows: CanoWAR, ClamoWAR, PowerWAR.

I vote for the ClamoWAR. I especially like the RF/Static isolation the case provides; ease of grounding and higher gain antenna.

Exciting times!!

Would a WAR2 fit in the ClamoWar?

I found this link for the PowerStation (apparently just announced today)
http://www.ubnt.com/ps2.php4

The software switchable antenna polarity sounds interesting, I've used that feature on Trango radios. Can be handy.

Does the Clamowar mounting system/antenna support either V and H polarization?

The first batch will have the antenna included.

The system will be vertical only.

I like the look of the ClamoWAR, do you have a pic of the mounts on the back.

Fairly standard U Bolt pipe mount with 90 degree swivel. We'll get more pictures as we get closer to it becoming a product.

Lonnie,

We tried a couple of these PowerStation 2's and we were not real impressed with the initial results. We have a LightStation 2 coupled with a Roo14 and the LS2 seems to do quite a bit better than the PS2. Have you tried/tested any of these PS2's yet?

The PS2 is in development. To say it is tough is an understatement. It is a MIPS processor but everything else is not quite what we are used to. It is a learning process and once we get over that part we'll get a working unit.
