First of all does V3 support this card new card? I currently have a link with 2 cm9's which is 20km. I have it locked down to 12M as this is all it will handle. Signal at each end is -73 and -68. I was going to replace the cm9's with these cards to see if I could increase the bandwidth going to the remote AP as it is beginning to take on a lot of users.

Not sure about the sr cards, but I think Lonnie has some higher powered compex AG cards.

The XR series are supported if they are a standard Atheros chipset. What do you have for antenna?

If you're going with these cards, I'd really suggest using a WAR4 METRO board and an EXCELLENT power supply. I think it's been said already but there's no harm in repeating: power supplies can make a big difference.

Im not interested in "throwing" out more power, I am more interested in the recieve side of the card.

I am using the xr5 for a tough backhaul and they do link and they seem to run "OK". Between -70 and -75 most of the time, 4 x's cloaking.
Both ends are the latest software and war2's. I'm going to check the power supplies. I know they are NOT 24's. And when I get the budget I'll upgrade to the metro.

On the XR5 which port is A and which is B? When I select from one to the other it does not seem to make any difference to the signal as it would a normal cm9 or compex card.

Antenna A is the MMCX connector the Ufl is B
I don't recall my XR2 and XR5 radios having anything but the MMCX connector. No u.FL at all.
I used antenna port A and it was obviously correct so I did not try antenna port B.
