hello guys. I need help again here. I have installed the Star V3 (x86) in flash ID card, but with the advanced of mother boards in x86 plataform. Well any mother boards some give support to the boot by the usb port. Like this is very good because we can use the pen drive (Smart Drive) to install Star V3x in this device. The price of smart drive is very cheaply here in the BrazilI, more than flash id, for exemple the Flash ID adapter is with 64 MB card is a 40 U$ and the smart card is 40 U$ with 2GB.:p Well I try it, but not work the boot! My question is: What I can do to this metod is work? is possible?

Thanks all

StarV3 requires that the first boot device is ATA based (Hard Disk, DiskOnModule, or Compact Flash).

SCSI, SATA, and USB boot devices are not supported.

StarOS v2 only requires and uses 16 MB of flash. V3 is actually under 8 MB. Therefore who cares about whether you have a 64 MB drive or 2 GB drive? Most of the storage is never used, thus your financial concern about value for money should simply be "does it work?".

As Tony explained that means you need the ATA based flash.
