I have a new circuit being installed and this provider is doing things a little differently. They are saying I would need a cisco or some other 2 port router to make this work. hers the layout ip's are of course just for show ;)
72.1.1.1 GW at NOC
72.1.1.20 MY IP
255.255.255.0
From there they are routing 69.1.1.128/25 to me
so would I need a basic free V3 system with 2 ports to do this?
My "core router" has plenty of free nics but I cant use the 72.x.x.x addresses because I think nat will try to use that address and that gateway. I am just not seeing something right here.
Thank's
Reed
