Guys, just wanted to put something on here about the Joost system the guys formerly from Skype and Kazaa are working on. If it goes anywhere, it may have a significant impact on bandwidth. I have subscribed and have been testing the service through my network. For those of you who haven't read about it yet, it's basically free p2p web tv. Big companies are signing on though so it looks promising to the consumers. It will be interactive and targeted advertising as well as demographics etc.. They are estimating between 200 and 320 MB downloading per hour, per viewer. http://www.joost.com/

We have been working with some guys on iptv delivery so we are very aware that the bandwidth needs are going to skyrocket, thus we are focused on performance and reliability. An iptv user will scream when his picture stutters.
