You have confused the VNC - Virtual Network Connection - software with the Valemont Networks Corp and the StarOS software.
You are asking your question on the wrong forum.

Like Butch said It appears you are having a problem with your computers Operating system and "Virtual Network Connection."
You might even be running a "Virtual Private Network" and that program is trying to do some kind of upgrade.
I don't believe your problem has anything to do with STAR-OS.
I hope this make things a little clearer.
