Hello,
I have a route poisoning problem with duplicate routes caused by a weighting issue. We have dual-homed locations that connect to our HQ and D/R facilities and routing is handled via OSPF. Each location has 2 routers and each router has two connections.
I have played with the costs until I’m crossed eyed and have yet to find a weighting scheme that offers a unique cost per route given every possible situation. I’ve also looked for some type of OSPF matrix calculator with no luck.
My current duplicate routes are:
hdfibp -> hqt1b -> remotedslb -> remotedslr (cost 81)
hqfibp -> drfibd -> drfibr -> remotedslr (cost 81)
I have attached the interface configurations for each location as well as a Visio diagram. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Joel Golden
