Does anyone know of any straight PCI wireless cards with external antennas that work with Star OS? I just ordered a Dlink dwl-520 from Tigerdirect.com and on their website it said it was a Prism 2.5 Chipset. Well, when it came to me, it was the rev. C1, which doesn't work. So I am back to the drawing board. Thanks all.
That is too bad. The zcom XI-6xx PCI cards are Prism 2.5 to my knowledge.
On the bright side, we have almost completed our Admtek 8211 support, which should be released in the near future. This will allow you to use the 'C1' series of cards. Unfortunately these cards do not have Access point support, but they do work well for Infrastructure and Ad-Hoc.
Thanks!
the netgear ma311 I bought from staples yesterday was still the prism chipset. I haven't seen them with any other chipset, but that doesn't mean much.

Thanks for the headsup on the MA311. I will have to go get me one of these. Do they work good? Either way, I will still go get one.
