I tried to remove the early posts for the wiki thread because of the broken link and instead removed the thread. Please use this topic to get the new wiki organized.

I've just setup a wiki in case there's not one around. Should have it ready for people to start using in a day or two. Unless someone else already has one setup? It's at staroswiki.oregonfast.net.
Hey Lonnie, if you want to cname wiki.star-os.com to staroswiki.oregonfast.net (swiki and stoswiki also works), I'll make sure it'll show up.
That's an impressive front page, very nice.
I've been climbing towers the last couple of days, or I'd have it done already... I was actually going to set mediawiki up for staros.tog.net. We already have a mailing list (wisp-at-tog dot net) that is heavily populated with StarOS users, I figured the staros.tog.net wiki would make sense.
nickwhite also set one up (actually registered a domain name for it, too) and told me about it privately.
If it would not offend anybody terribly, I was actually hoping to put my writings on my own wiki. Obviously if we all intend to write stuff we need to pick one place to put it.

I'll donate the domain name. I've got it hosted on dreamhost right now, with hardly anything on it.

Seems like enough people are interested in making this work.

All right, mine is up after a little delay in getting Elshar's permission to steal the content he created during the 2 days that I didn't have time to install software on my server.
http://staros.tog.net/
You'll find the starter skeleton that Elshar put together as well as a couple of contributions already from other unidentified authors that I copied over and one short quip on getting started with v3 from me so far. Much more to come from me as I get time.
nickwhite, thank you for the offer to donate the domain name. If you want to just point the A records for staroswiki.com and www.staroswiki.com at 216.89.226.6, I'll configure my web server to expect it. Or if you are actually paying a third party for hosting that domain and you want change the DNS servers over to mine, I can do that, too.

I'll change it this afternoon. I'll just point it to that IP for now.

EDIT: Ok, it's now redirecting there.
A lot of good work has been done. Thank you to all the contributors so far (I don't think I missed any):
Elshar, therealboss, Gunther, Simcor23, kbldawg and DrLove73
I wasn't actually expecting so much participation so this is a wonderful surprise. It's getting filled out a lot quicker than I could have hoped because of you guys.
I just finished up what I think is a pretty decent-looking article on the supported hardware in StarV3 which is actually more up-to-date than the official forum sticky :)

I am assuming that Lonnie and Tony will not mind that I do a little copy and pasting to fill in some of these articles!

I have added to the "Antenna" section but you might need to clean up my layout (Not one of my strong points).

I'm currently way over my head in obligations, with no spare time, so I havent had time to anything more or nice. Feel free do expand it.
I'll have some time after 10-15 december, and add some new stuf.
Take your time, I appreciate the contributions you guys have provided thus far.
Tony or Lonnie, would you mind taking a quick look at http://staros.tog.net/wiki/V2_Hardware for me and confirming my Atheros chipset list and make sure I haven't accidentally listed a newer unsupported Atheros chipset and/or maybe omitted some supported wireless chipsets?
Thanks much!

Things look OK. The wiki is sure taking shape and I am quite amazed at the amount of data you have collected. In short --> WOW and Thanks. <--
The Wiki is sure taking shape nicely. Thank you for all the effort you have put into it.
Thank you. Since I'd like the wiki to become a credible and authoritative source of StarOS/StarV3 information, I may occasionally request an accuracy check.
You'll find the articles that I have deemed are not yet complete sources of information have the {{stub}} template attached to them to more easily keep track of what needs more work done on it.
The {{stub}} tag is an example of the wiki "policies" and structure coming together just a little bit, too. Wikimedia knows what they're doing, definitely worth stealing some of their ideas.
Again, much of the thanks go to the contibutors so far, only a couple of the articles so far are mine and the nice table layout of the front page is Elshar's!

Maybe even 'STar User of the Decade'! We could just call him 'STUD' for short.

STUD it is. I also set his account to Distributor and popped some funds in it. I always figured "thanks" is nice but it don't pay the bills.
Wow!
I don't know what to say guys, thank you. That was really generous, Lonnie.
