I have StarOS working as an AP and am able to ping the wireless card as well as the ethernet card in the staros box. Then I hook it up to my Freesco router and can't seem to get from ether1 on staros to ether1 on the freesco box. Config is as follows

StarOS
Wlan=192.168.2.1 255.255.255.0
eth1= 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0

static route set as
192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0

Freesco box
eth0=192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
eth1=192.168.3.1 255.255.255.0
eth2=192.168.4.1 255.255.255.0

if staros eth1 and freesco eth0 are both in 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 shouldn't they be able to talk or do I have something very backwards?
Any help would be great.
TIA Sinack

If the Freesco box is your main point for the StarOS make sure you have the default gateway set to the Freesco IP.

Also, with multiple Ethernet cards in a box, they are not always numbered from right to left or left to right. Linux assigns them pretty much as they are encountered.

Are these units cabled directly to each other or do they have a hub in between? If they are direct then you require a cross connect cable.

Hope one of these things gets you moving.

I guess I'll tangle with this one latter....My main problem is getting staros hooked into my ISP uplink which is dynamicly assigned. Sinace StarOS does not have a DHCP client built in what would be the best route to get it an internet connection (besides getting a static IP.....heh)?

At this point it is static only. Ask your ISP if you can connect, give them the MAC address and use the IP they assign you. I'm sure you will have to sign up for Business Internet but you are going to resell anyway, right?
