Hi. We've replaced one of our V2 WRAP/Aries AP's with a V3/WAR/Compex. This is just a few customers - me, my Brother in law - my partner and a couple other test customers. However, like the other V3 tests we've done, we can't seem to reliably get any performance or pass data reliably.
On my system, I noticed that I could ping 700byte packets most of the time, but never get anything at 800 or larger. After some expirementation, it turns out to be exactly at 704 bytes that get through, and 705 don't. It looks to be because on our radios, we have RTS/CTS set at 768. We had been doing some expirementation a couple weeks ago on the V2/WRAP AP, and I also have Fragmentation set down to 768 on my client radio and had just happened to leave it.
So, my question is: Does V3 support RTS or FRAG? It would seem not to work it in the same way as V2 did, and perhaps this is some of the trouble that people are attributing to preable or other issues?
Thank you,
Todd
