I use the "classic blue" option for screen colors and I find that the V3 screen is very difficult to read compared to the V2 screen:

V2 has white text on blue background where V3 has black text on the blue background. For example, the name "Valemount Networks Corporation".
V2 has yellow text on blue background where V3 has black text on the blue background. For example, the name given to the router in the DNS Server list.
V2 has text that is yellow or white where V3 has text that is greenish or red. For example, the Network, System Time, System Uptime, System Memory, and System Service Summary.

These things are low priority, bottom of the list items.

To have the colours look correctly, all that needs to be done is update your Putty version. The one that is included with the firmware updates should do the trick.

I use SecureCRT 5.1.1. There seems to be some incompatibilities between StarOS V3 and SecureCRT.

I will get the latest Putty to see how it looks.

Thanks.
