Hi All,
We have a router that's doing something very strange. It's a wrap with 2 cm9 cards, Star OS 2.10. wpci1 connects to one end of a point to point link, wpci2 connects to an Omni. I can only get one antenna to work at a time. If I set antenna A to wpci1 and antenna B to wpci2 then the omni will work normally but the point to point won't connect. If I connect set antenna B to wpci1 and antenna A to wpci2 then the point to point will connnect but I'll only get about 100m from the omni.

Before I start changing out hardware, I was wondering has anybody else came accross this problem.

Thanks,

Eamonn

Are you sure one of the wireless cards or pigtails isn't bad i.e. do the cards / pigtails in wpci1 / wpci2 work OK on their own? You could also try using some different frequency combinations. Depending on where you're located you might also be suffering from RF interference from some other source. We have one AP that stopped passing traffic on an interface whenever a close by VHF Ham Radio Repeater was keyed up, so if there's a high RF field strenght around you will need to make sure you're boxes and cables are all well screened and grounded.

Have you tried setting them both to antenna B? or A?

I tried setting both to A and B, no difference. Not sure about interference, our site survey didn't show up anything.
I reckon I'll start changing hardware.
