i Have searched throughout the forums , and have found pieces of what i need . But surley its not expecting a lot . For a up to date version of documentation.

I know Lonie and Tony are great at developing STAR-OS , and this keeps them busy, surely we the customers , should be getting documentation with the products.

If it will be the same with V3 , i will be looking carefully at other Wireless radio solutions in the future.

Lonie and Tony this is not a dig at your great product, i just think it would be better for all if you guys released a updated version of the documetation with your products.

Surely its not a mater of cost , you must be able to hire someone to help write up your documentation.

I have 50 WRAP's in the Republic of Georgia, and will start to upgrade them to V3 WAR , but i would like to see a small effort made in the support.

I am not asking for things with don't come as standard with other products.

Thanks for your understanding.

I hope i didn't come across as kicking you .

Regards

There is a preliminary manual on our website. Other questions can be directed to the forums, if it's not already answered.

The software in general was designed to be as self explanatory as possible. If there is something that you are not sure about, just ask.

I agree, what would you like to know that the prelim docs don't cover. The menus, when folded out, make great sense of the context that needs to be dealt with and any further queries past that would be specialized docs.

The complexity that can be maintained throughout StarOS is far more than could ever be simply put on a sheet of paper but, never too great to ask for assistance.

I would agree a manual would be great. However as a wisp I understand time constraints and budget. I have tried several other solution that costed far more money to deploy and perfermance could not touch Star-os. I personaly would rather time and resouces were spent on continued devolopement and optimizing the product. I am willing to spend my time researching - looking at the forums .... a companies can right all the books in the world but real world trial and error rules. If anyone wants tons of book's contact me and I can ship you stacks of cisco and microsoft book that are not worth the paper they written on. Keep up the great work guys.......ps.... SNMP. ... QOS ..... would be nice for release on V3
