We currently use a EPIA5000/StarOS/CM-9 system for our PTP links. We are considering the WAR board for some new point-to-point links that we will be deploying.

I understand that v3 is still in beta. Whch version should I use with reliability being most imporatant (v2 or v3?).

For PTP links we use LMR-900 and mount the radios indoors in a rackmount case when possible. I looked and cannot find any good indoor case options for the WAR board. Are there any pre-made cases available?

I am interested because management is leary of moving to the new platform that is still in beta and the current solution works great.

Best,

- Dan

The v3 platform is very reliable, and is still marked as beta because it is lacking some features we would like to see for it's inital release (notably wep/wpa/acl and wds).

The newest version is the best.

Thanks for the feedback.

The cost between what we use and WAR are very similar. We still haven't decided.
