Been running a few tests on a link with a WAR - WRAP and have found the following:-
Test setup
WRAP AP with CM9 802.11a
Signal at WRAP AP Location "A"
WRAP AP to WRAP Client 27/30 -68/-65
WRAP AP to WAR Client 27/27 -68/-68
Link 21 miles LOS (Location A 1700ft ASL to Location B 450ft ASL)
Pac Wireless 32db Dish each end.with 3ft LMR400
Signal at Client WRAP CM9 Location "B"
Pac Wireless 32dB Dish
20 -75
WAR with CM9 802.11a (Same location as above WRAP client)
Pac Wireless 28dB Grid
27 -68
So it looks like the WAR is better for signal, or is this not the case. Also a strange problem, when WAR is rebooted, signal on AP reads 4/8 -91/-87. If I "Activate Changes" on the WAR the signal comes backup to 27/27 -68 /-68.
When I get this low reading the signal on the WAR reads 27 -68
Is this a glitch?
Also just noticed that since V3 B7 ping is now only 1 ping?????
