Hi!

Does anybody know, whether the D-Link DWL-520+ 22MBit WLAN PCI Adaptor works with Staros? I`m not shure witch kind of chip they use!

Welcome to the Forums!

No, we do not support the DWL-520+ due to the chipset they use (TI ACX-100). The TI chips have no documentation available for driver development, but if they do decide to release it, we may have a better chance at supporting them.

We do support the DWL-520 (non '+') very well however.

Thanks!

That`s sad, because I can get some of them for 65$ each! And they have up to 22Mbit/s transmission-rate!

Ok, thanks for your help!

I see in your latest StarOS, support for the DWL-520C1 cards.

Are you going to support Dlink's "G" cards anytime soon?

Or what "G" cards are you planning on supporting?

Thanks

We have done drivers for the Intersil 802.11a (Indigo) and 802.11a/g (Duette) based PCI and CardBus cards a while ago, however we cannot release them until some cards are available for these chipsets.

If anybody has a list of manufacturers that make cards based on the above Intersil chipsets, please let us know.

Thanks!

on't chuck that card just yet. Remove original 520+ mini-pci card and slap in one of the Engenius A/B/G mini PCI cards. Works like a charm, tested on build 1.13.3b4 in all modes with great success
