1: If I uncheck the "Bridge all interfaces" what happens?

2: What is Intra-BSS Relay?

3: What is the differences between Operating Modes?

4: What is cloaking and what situations is it used for?

5: What is "Outdoor channels only" used for (and yes I get the outdoors part, but what does it do)?

6: I'm using Linksys WRT54G with a mixture of DD-WRT and Sevasoft software. I'm looking at upgrading these slowly. Will the WDS work with the StarOS?

Thanks. Any answers are greatly appreciated.

Answers in red within the quoted body.

1: If I uncheck the "Bridge all interfaces" what happens? This removes bridging.

2: What is Intra-BSS Relay? This allows traffic between cards directly through the AP card. It causes the AP radio card to act like a simple HUB with no processing or control.

3: What is the differences between Operating Modes? AP should be a term you know. Client should be known as well. Client bridge should be able to be figured out.
4: What is cloaking and what situations is it used for? It hides the signal from standard modes by using special modulation. It also extends the maximum range.

5: What is "Outdoor channels only" used for (and yes I get the outdoors part, but what does it do)? If you select it you will only see outdoor channels in the list.

6: I'm using Linksys WRT54G with a mixture of DD-WRT and Sevasoft software. I'm looking at upgrading these slowly. Will the WDS work with the StarOS? We do not have a normal WDS. It is special in order to make a Client bridge easy to accomplish. It will not work with other WDS implementations.

Thanks. Any answers are greatly appreciated.
