Just upgraded 3 of my PtP WAR links.
Questions I have:
1) Is it the same bootrom as before 4-245.rel.rom
2) notice it says "o" and "i" , indoor and outdoor.
But isn't 5320 an outdoor channel?
3) DHCP server... I need help on this one. Maybe you can give me an ilustration on how to set this up assuming the war ap wan ethernet is connected to an ethernet port on a star -os box with dhcp enabled.
Thanks
George
The bootrom is the same.
For the DHCP server, click the ADD button, and put the appropriate IP range you wish to issue. Ensure the mask is the same as entered on your ethernet device, and the gateway is correct. Once you click the Apply button, your DHCP client should be able to get a lease.
I'm currently running build 2101 on a 2 port board. When I click firmware upload and enter the file name it responds with an error message that the upload failed. I am hardwired to the board and it is absolutely unchanged from when I recieved it from you. Any ideas.

Make sure you do the firmware first. The rom boot has war2 or war4 in the name to designate which board it is for. The main firmware will work on both boards.
I've done a couple of other boards so I know the procedure. I am starting to think this board has some problems. It periodically loses the ethernet connection even though it stays associated with the ap. I'm going to remove it today so I can do some experiments on the bench.

Try it with interBSS Relay disabled. Everything else looks setup correctly. Can you get it back by activating the card or do you have to reboot?

Thanks. It is good to know the board was running. It is not good to know the driver had crashed, though.
We will see if there is anything we can duplicate here. Up until now we have never had an issue of the driver crashing, but of course we do not use these for multiple customers. Our use at this time is strictly for backhaul and we use a WRAP with StarOS for Ap and Client. Of course that will change when we get v3 on the WAR, but we'll see what we can do in the short term for you.
