I have rolled out a four node WDS system in a populated city area and we lucked out with good antenna placement... But I wish to explore other options.
We have a couple choices and I would like to obtain input from others...
1) Would we get better performance by locking down AP's to 1MB at 802.11b with CCK modulation (suffers from multi-path issues)?
2) Would we get better performance by locking down AP's to 6mb 802.11g and reap the rewards of OFDM and multi-path performance NLOS?
What have others seen between the two?
How much of a performance change did you see by switching?
All this NLOS stuff that is really only OFDM... How is it really with respect to trees, buildings, etc?

BTW: Best antenna we have found is the Comet GP-24-3 omni. That thing kicks some serious tail!!! And for 150.00 a pop you can't beat it with a stick!
