Do the 802.1q issues (>=1522 byte MTU), reported with StarOS v2, exist with Vx? What's the Ethernet chipset used on WARboards, anyway?

The WAR MTU is 1500, however when we implement vlan (802.1q) the MTU will be adjusted accordingly.

The WAR platform operates on an IXP42x, which uses the Intel NPE Ethernet.
