Other Atheros cards / PoE

Hi,

is the WAR board available without/with different Atheros cards? I'd like to use the ARIES2 as it has a slightly better receive sensitivity.
Also, will the WAR boards take 48VDC, the info on the web page and the forums seems to conflict...

Another question: Everything I've read indicates that the Windoze GUI is the only way to configure the WAR board. Is there no shell? If not, are there plans to develop a config tool for OSS (Linux, FreeBSD)?

We only sell with CM9 cards. Aries2 are OK but are really no better or worse. The WAR boards take a maximum of 28V.

We have no plans, at the moment, to create the GUI in anything but Windows. It is a lot of work to provide choices. Our goal is to give you a way to do the job.

Ok, in this case, let me be the first to make a feature request for Vx ;) A shell or other text-based UI would be very helpful. (As I use FBSD for *all* my work, installing Windows just for the GUI isn't really an option)
