Samsung/Magiclan cards are very common in Brazil, but I found no mentions in this forum about support for this type of card. I suppose it's based on prism chipset. The part numbers are SWL-2100P and SWL-2200.
Thanks,

If they are prism-based, then we should have good support for them. There may be a chance that we do not have the IDs for them, but those can be added in the next release.

If by chance your cards are not detected by the system, you should go into the System Information dialog, and scroll down to where the PCMCIA slot information is shown. It should show the IDs necessary for us to add support.

Thanks!

My research indicates these cards have a complete PCMCIA controller on the card and the radio card. I could not find any info about the controller type. One picture seemed to show it was from BASIC but anybody have a card and can confirm the PCMCIA chip type.

The cards should work, but I would like some more info before we say they will.

http://www.vigor-users.nl/wireless/compatibiliteit.html reports that samsung magiclan cards have a prism2 chipset. Also has information on other brands.
