Nothing new to report. We are just about ready to ship the first units with StarVx though.

StarVX is not StarOS V3. You have to wait for x86 V3 probably until the end of year or so (Lonnie said in another post : they will develop V3 until there are some advanced features in Vx). This could mean two-three months for Vx and another four-six months for V3...
Lonnie, do you have any time expectations for x86 V3 ? We know you don't like this question... but then, there would be no room for speculations like mine above.

well at least my v2 is running stable. 111 days of uptime since last count.

shucks i just remembered about 1 of our towers (when things are stable I forget about stuff like a tower) so I decided to log into it and check the uptime. 256 days... only reason it isn't longer is because I was at the tower 256 days ago to convert a backhaul radio to atheros.
Then I remembered about another tower; 267 days. I have to go up there this weekend and convert a backhaul to atheros... and upgrade to the latest build.

I have a Soekris unit with CPE 1.13.3 that has been up for 486 days and an ATX unit with Server 1.13.3 that has been up for 248 days. There are several other ATX units that have been up for 100+ days.
Now that I have bragged on them, tomorrow will probably see a unit take a nose dive :-(
