Being able to upload / download the DHCP config files would sure make life easier. We are in the process of switching our clients over to fixed ip's via DHCP and its been a pain in the butt. It will be worth it when its done though.

We will look into this addition to the starutil utility.

Thanks!

On a related note, I'm wondering if it would be possible to add a syntax check button to the DHCP config. On more than one occasion, I've messed something up in the config file, and when I restart the service, DHCP dies. At that point, I'm scrambling to figure out what I messed up so I can get DHCP running again. It would be nice to know that the config file is correct before applying it--similar to the syntax checker in the ACL, CBQ, and firewall scripts.

At this point, we have no way to verify the validity of the DHCP configuration format until the DHCP server is actually restarted.

I'm not aware of any external DHCP configuration syntax checkers, but I will take a look, as it would be a nice addition.

Thanks!
