I origionally started with BSD running on Single board computers with passive back plane rack mounted boxes.
The NIC cards were attached to external AP's.
Then I changed out the NICS for PCI adapters and Orinoco cards.
Everything was in one box.
One of them failed last month and set me to scrambeling for a temp replacement.
--------------
Here is what I came up with for the permanent fix.
I am just waiting for the dual hard drive fans to get here so I can install them in the covers.
------------
Isn't it kind of funny how things come around full cycle?
Yes I opted for Prism on these because the present system has all Prism CPEs.
Anything new will be ATHEROS-AP most likely.
(I am kind of looking forward new super duper long range jobbies.
Hope this helps someone.

I just added the link to the rest of the views Popped caps and SBC board.
(The CPU is a Celeron 850 mhz.)
