Do not apply this update unless you have easy access to the system in question. Always backup your configuration before upgrading.

Read the previous beta release notes before applying this update.

Release notes for v2.00.3b8a:
*) system arp table has been extended to allow for much larger networks. (from 1024, to 8192 entries).

Release Caveats:
*) (2004-10-21) clients may fail to associate to AP in shared-key mode. v2.00.3b9 will have this resolved.

As with all betas, please report your success using this release.

from version strrw-2.00.3b5-4373 is big problems.This release is last know good work release.Now i testing b4450 and not possible downgrade to any old release,CPU is very busy (50-100%,with 4373 is up over 30%),now is packet loss and all system is slowly and few power...
Always is 64MB CF and Wrap 1eth/2minipci,1x CM9 at 2.4GHz mode...
On this machine we shape over 200 users and throuhput to inet is 2Mbits...
Help...now i must go up to my roof,becouse this release is not possible normal use!

If i try downgrade via StarUtil,so starutil say:


D:\Prg\StarUtil>starutil 10.32.1.200 1243 -f strrw-2.00.3b5-4373.bin
Server reported an error: File too large

D:\Prg\StarUtil>

On desktop with strong CPU is work fine... :twisted:

Can you get me a support snapshot for your system? It would help greatly.

The filesize error message is due to the size differences between the new, and old release. We will make this more lax in later releases.

Do you have any layer-7 firewall rules in your system? If you do, that may be the cause of your performance issues as it may be a little too tasking on the WRAP hardware with that much traffic.

I get this message in my messages log from one of my remote systems.

what does it exactly mean?
