We are ready to begin coding a driver for Intersil Indigo chip sets. We have the tech info we need for the 802.11a, 802.11a/b duette and 802.11g sets.

Now we need some cards, but I haven't had time to search. Anybody have a source for them?

With some cards we'll have a driver in a month.

I couldn't find ANY cards based on intersil's Indigo chipset, or at least google couldn't, I saw several references to karlnet working with them, but I couldn't find any actual parts.

These are the mfg's that definately do NOT use the intersil chipset
Netgear
Linksys
Dlink

I saw 3 other cards floating around, but couldn't find any definate information on what chipset they use. They were:
Proxim
Cisco
Intel

I believe lucent makes a 802.11a card as well, since I saw some 802.11a ap-2000's floating around, but dunno if they made their own chipset or not.

Hmmmm? Are you guys going to code in any "Turbo" modes to get extra speed on 802.11a/g backhauls?

I think I'm going to need a faster proccesor...

The 'Turbo' mode seems to be a unique feature to the Atheros line of cards, however if the Intersil has such a capability, we will surely support it.

Thanks!
