My experiences with products based on chipset rtl8181 in the client side are very positive, even with the original firmware. With Linux Kernel in it (http://rtl8181.sourceforge.net), this cheap equipment could be a powerful box.
Any chance to have a StarOS image to upload in this kind of product ?

We can look at something like this after v3 is released. From what we have seen the Realtek drivers are not released with full technical info and that makes it tough to work with. I will make a presentation to Realtek and see if we can gain access to the info we require.
