UPS monitor

Reading the other post entitled "Ping Watchdog Request" made me think of something along those lines that would also be useful: A UPS monitoring daemon that would send an e-mail if power was lost. We've had a couple of occasions where the power has gone out at remote tower sites. Our UPS keeps the box up for several hours, but because we don't know it's out, the power company never gets notified until we go down. Thanks again for all the attention you're giving to these requests! This level of support is one more reason that every DSS 802.11b WISP should be using StarOS.

I am aware of a unit that measures several battery levels and has some smarts to be notifying people with the Ethernet port and removing some loads to make power last longer.
