Will Star-OS run on other processors?

I am considering using a VIA-C3 650MHz/100FSB CPU (FCPGA) on a cpe system. I think the C3 is basicly a cyrix III

Also, I am considering a duron or athlon on a station server.

Will Star-OS run on these systems? Do they have to be recompiled?

Yes, we should run without problems on most x86 processors.

The VIA-C3 is fully supported. We use systems based on this processor for testing.

We have a number of different systems tested. AMD runs fine, P4 runs fine, VIA Eden ESP ultra low power works fine.
