My Expirence with Star OS

Hi everyone.... Sorry this is off the normal subject. I just wanted to tell everyone how extremely happy I am with star os. I've called a few times and spoke to Lonnie who is one of the most patient computer techs I have ever ran accross. He gave me all the suggestions that I needed to get my box up and running in record time. For any WISP's out there that are looking for killer software that gets the job done around the clock star os is the choice!!!

Again I just want to thank everyone at star os and keep up the good work.. The world needs more good companies like this one!!!!!!

I agree, we haven't had one crash on us yet... the only problems we've ran into have been blamed on hardware. A quality product, easy enough for a moron to use. Try getting the performance of starOS out of hostap or something, HAHAHA!
Here's hoping for support for 5.8ghz when it comes around. Keep up the good work! I don't understand how you guys can code and run a WISP at the same time. Do you have seperate divisions to do site surveys/installs/tower work while you run the system and code?

We have lots of help. We have two guys doing the installs and building new repeater sites. They handle that part nicely. We run the computer store with a couple more guys. We have three parttimers doing office, bookkeeping and web design, picture scanning and printing.

We started with the computer store and evolved to the Internet because we had the expertise. We started doing software to aid our Internet and because we could not find what we wanted.

We hated going out to the repeater sites to push reset late at night or when it was very cold. End result is pretty reliable software. Nothing is perfect but we strive for no unscheduled repeater visits.
