Greetings all,

First off, thanks for putting out such a great product for SBC. We've just about completed the upgrades on all of our other systems with your software.

I am curious what it would take for a telnet client (as part of the firmware, or external in the operating system) to majically appear. A plate of cookies? A box of chocolates? :)

I will be putting some users on private IP addresses, and others on public IP addresses. Some of our customers use Tranzeo units with the telnet server enabled and running, and I would like a way to be able to telnet into their radios if/when we need to make little changes for whatever reason sounds good at that moment.

In fact, I have the perfect little sector coming up in a day that we'd be more then willing to beta-test with.

A feature such as a telnet client would be a great addition to an already wonderful product.

Thank you much!

Consider it done. I will include it in the 1.10.4 release version. :)

Tony,

Wow, that is great to hear. Now, are cookies good enough? lol

Seriously, it would be a great help to myself (and I'm sure others) for this feature, so thank you very much for being able to do that. Very good customer service, and even better support! :)

Thanks again,

I would like to see the telnet client included to get into other devices that don't support ssh, like APC PDUs.

Ditto, and extremely important. Trango users really need a telnet client for remote APs.

Many AP's have only telnetd, also many people manage cisco by telnet (sure, someone use serial, but i think enough to have only good ACL :))), access only by serial have faulty section in chain - PC by whom u will access. I think telnet client included to busybox (secure and simple as possible) is good solution :)
