This doesn't actually give the user 10.0.0.64 right? I will have to setup DHCP to give out IP's on that interface. The hotspot feature only has the ability to verify that the MAC is using that IP? So if I setup dynamic dhcp and turn off the framed-ip-address verify feature things should still work properly?
Framed-IP-Address in the radius file is used for two things, while using hotspot. If you are using the DHCP Auto-auth w/ Radius enabled, it will give this IP to the user instead of a dynamic. Additionally, the hotspot login page will verify that the user's current IP matches Framed-IP-Address during the authentication process, and will fail if they differ. (this behavior is optional).
Thanks!

This is what I'm trying to get working.
I've got Auto-auth enabled with Radius. However, I can't get the client machine to get the Framed-IP-Address which is set in the radius server. What other attributes need to be set.
I can't see how (without the dhcp server running) a client machine will know which gateway to use - does this come from the auto-auth config with only the IP address coming from the radius server ?
What attribute do I need to set in order to have an IP address allocated dependant upon the MAC address ?

DOH. I'd left my test username/password in my radius server. Replaced with the MAC address of my client machine and it works a treat.

:D :D We like it when these problems are resolved and we have no problem on our end. Glad you got it figured out.
