PCMCIA NICs

You mentioned in the previous thread that you don't offer support for PCMCIA NICs. Is there a reason for this, other than simplicity and not creating more work for you guys?

It's not a big issue. In spot that I might wind up using a notebook for now will really need only two wireless cards, but in testing stuff out, it'd be nice to have a wired interface on the notebook(s).

Anyway, not a request, just a question.

pcmcia network cards are not compatible with StarOS's design, and would have to be totally overhauld to support them. We do however support most of the internal NICs that many laptops come built-in.
