Has anyone used RFLinx's new 5.8Ghz amps for PtP links? I see that they just released them and would this help with power output issues? The model I am seeing is the 5800 S series. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

we just put one in.
Ap is a d-link ag520 with 30' lmr 400 with 17dbi 90deg sector.
clients
7.6 miles with 26dbi 2' lmr 400 and cm9 wrap
8.6 miles with 29dbi 10' lmr 400 and cm9 wrap
before we added the amp both had link quality of 5-10 throughput averaged 100KB
After we added the amp both have link quality of 15-20 throughput averages 1500KB to 2000KB.
Plan on two weeks for delivery from time of order.
Also watch the sma conectors on the OEM boards as we had one come off. The SMA is soldered onto the traces not though the board. Same problem as the old D-Link520 pci cards.
